Frequently Asked Questions

Learning Lithuanian online with me is easy and flexible. We can work together to create a lesson plan that suits your needs and/or busy schedule.

01

What is the cost of online Lithuanian classes?

The courses are based on 60 minute long lessons delivered over Skype. You can also have an extended 1.5 hour long lesson.

Most learners take a package of 10 lessons. You can choose between two types of packages. With the Standard lesson package, all sessions take place on the agreed day and time. Meanwhile, the Flexible lesson package allows for a flexible schedule: if the agreed time no longer suits you, we can reschedule any lesson with 24h notice.

Standard lesson package: 10 lessons x 60 minutes = 290 EUR

Flexible lesson package: 10 lessons x 60 minutes = 350 EUR

Single individual lesson: 60 minutes = 37 EUR (OR 29-35 EUR in a 10 lesson package)

Extended single individual lesson: 1.5 hours = 53 EUR (OR 45-50 EUR in a 10 lesson package)

A package is valid for one-year from the date of purchase.

You can get in touch if you'd like to order more than one package at once and discuss further discount options.

Contact me and we'll start as soon as you wish.

02

Can I try a class before I commit to a course?

YES. I can offer a free 15 minute TRIAL LESSON for new students who request it. During this time we will get to know each other and discuss your learning needs. I can also answer all of your questions.

03

How do I pay for language lessons?

Payment can be made using:

  • Bank wire transfer

  • Paypal (+ up to 7% Paypal Charges)

  • Revolut

  • PaySera

  • Western Union.

Please note that a 5% payment surcharge will be applied to all AMEX and JCB payments.

04

Will I receive learning materials?

Of course. During my courses I mostly use teaching materials that I have personally authored (see the Lithuanian language textbooks I have published). You can purchase my books directly from me for a better price. I usually send any additional materials by e-mail before or after the lesson based on your needs.

I also use learning materials from other Lithuanian textbooks, internet, newspapers, magazines and media. I can scan and email these to you. We can also work with the materials you have chosen yourself.

Furthermore, I can assist you if you want to purchase any Lithuanian language books and media, including textbooks, audiobooks, fiction and non-fiction books.

05

When will the lessons take place?

We can discuss and arrange the times that you are available to learn Lithuanian. You could take a language lesson every day before or after your work, studies or lunch-time, or schedule them in a block on the weekend. It's your choice. Please note that a 10 percent surcharge may be applied for the weekend sessions in case of high demand.

We'll find the best schedule for us both. Please be aware of time differences, my local time is Eastern European time zone and I am available from 8 a.m. to 11 p. m.

06

Can I change my class times?

Yes if you get the Flexible lesson package. I have a very flexible schedule and will do my best to teach according to you needs. Do not worry if you need to change your chosen schedule. You simply need to inform me at least one day in advance.
